Atlanta Sex Therapy

What is sex therapy?

Sex therapy is similar to traditional talk therapy, but it focuses mainly on intimacy and sexuality-related difficulties and concerns. There is never any physical contact, sexual activity, or nudity in session. Sex therapy is for everyone: people of all lifestyles, ages, bodies,  preferences, identities, and backgrounds are very welcome.

As an AASECT-certified sex therapist,  I understand the sensitivity of admitting and addressing intimacy and sexual concerns. I help individuals and couples develop positive anticipation and realistic expectations, growing their capacity to give and to receive, explore their past sexual history, and gain knowledge and skills to have more emotional and physical sexual satisfaction in the present and future.

I provide sex therapy in Atlanta, Roswell, and surrounding areas.

Sex plays an essential role in various aspects of our well-being, and it is vital at any age. Sex/intimacy is a health measure in addition to regular exercise, sufficient sleep, and healthy eating. Functional, energizing, and inviting sex plays an integral role in an individual’s relationship with self and with other people.

Sex therapy is not just for couples to partake in. People who are single and those who would like to be in a relationship do experience intimacy-related concerns.
